We decided to start a weekly small business advice blog post with content we find valuable to our LittleEngine members. If you have any links, blog posts, videos, etc. you feel would be valuable to our members, please message me on LittleEngine!

    For the week of 02.29.2008

John Moore of Brand Autopsy has a great post on why "Starbucks should STRONGLY CONSIDER encouraging its young and talented workforce to post videos of why they feel a connection to Starbucks." We here at LittleEngine strongly push our small business friends, family, and clients to blog and share on the web. It serves as a great requriement and marketing tool!

David Armano of Logic + Emotion posted an awesome interview with "Chris Gokiert: COO of Critical Mass, Chief Guitar Hero + Karaoke Coach." Chris' point on the Advertising/Marketing agencies of the future was interesting, they "the agency of the future is going to have to be a leader in understanding how technology is integrated into users’ lives. The ideas and customer insights are ultimately going to play out on a technological platform of some sort." We feel that we help small business' get digital here at LittleEngine, we are allowing potential customers to reach out to you and influence each other.

Chris Anderson serves up a sample of his new book in a Wired article, "Free! Why $0.00 Is the Future of Business." What are you giving away for free at your small business? Not a cheap product, but free! Create a LittleEngine coupon for a free service or product (that nobody has offered before) and see it go viral.

Brent Csutoras gives us an important point about the net, "Content is Still King." On your LittleEngine small business profile, you'll want to make sure all your content is worthwhile to the search engines (original), as well as, to potential customers (for viral reasons).

Have a great weekend, and keep creating and imagining!
