Now when someone sends you a message on LittleEngine, an email is sent to you letting you know someone sent you a message. If someone adds you as a friend the same will happen as well. For business owners, if someone writes a Known For about your business or comments on your blog post, you’ll get notified as well.

Today I'm happy to announce we just pushed live an updated profile page for business that we fill provides more legibility to their business name and contact information. In addition, all businesses now have live RSS feeds that users and other businesses can subscribe to.

The company started in 2005 as a site to help small-business owners and their employees find mortgage loans. LittleEngine.com now is a "social marketing" site for small businesses, said founders Broumas and J.J. Kaye, who unveiled their latest site design this week after launching a beta version last fall.
